Ponte de Lima, the oldest town in Portugal, register given by the mother of D. Afonso Henriques – D. Teresa, can be a good starting point. The famous gastronomy of Minho, is another reason to go out and get to know this peculiar area of Portugal.
From here you can set out to various close destinations, such as Ponte da Barca, Paredes de Coura, Terra de Bouro / Gerês, Arcos de Valdevez.
